Privot Pilot Certificate

Requirements

  • You may begin flight training at any age, but 17 years old is the minimum age requirement to hold your private pilot’s license

  • Complete 30 hours minimum of dual instruction and 10 hours minimum of solo flight

  • Obtain a 3rd Class Medical or BasicMed

  • Complete Ground School Program (in person or online curriculum)

  • Pass FAA Computerized Written Exam with a minimum score of 70%

  • Pass FAA Oral Exam and Checkride

Privileges

  • Act as pilot in command with passengers (not for hire)

  • Fly under Visual Flight Rules

  • Fly single engine aircraft.
